With its embracing comfort, a cosy seat and a high back, the ‘Papillon’ armchair offers a true hideaway in which to immerse yourself for a moment of total relaxation. Derived from the modular model of the same name, it innovates the logic of ‘Lo Spazio Diventa Tuo’ (The Space Becomes Yours) thanks to the introduction of an armchair version with two armrests that provide optimal comfort for reading moments. Its compact dimensions also allow it to be placed in even the narrowest of spaces – indeed it is only 70 centimetres wide. Its shape is reminiscent of a butterfly wing, hence the name ‘Papillon’ from the French. The support of the arm is made possible by the presence of a tubular structure, which acts as an armrest, protected at the top by leather. The metal structure, whose shape is inspired by the stylistic features of the modern movement, supports the armchair, having both a decorative and static function.
